I'm done setting the table. You know what is at stake this week. I guess I only have one maybe two questions for you:

Are you ready to call yourself a champion or will we forget your name by days end? If we don't even know your name will we even remember it at all?

DIVISION #1

THE FIELD

• EYES DOWNTOWN 2-1
• PUBLIC ENEMY 3-1
• 33 SPEAKEASY 4-1
• XTC 5-1

THE SKINNY: Eyes Down Town are the defending champs but have not looked overly impressive the past 3-4 weeks. Teams have started to man them and have rattled the ED offense a tad. PE probably takes the title if they were at 100% but rumors are swirling Mike Boccio will not be in the PE lineup this week. 33 Speakeasy has looked super solid down the stretch and has a big lat season win against ED.  Their girls can do some damage against ED if used correctly. #XTC has had attendance issues all season but easily are the team that no one wants to play as they are insanely talented but just cant seem to get over the hump. #XTC is easily the fan favorite in this playoff. The Spring session is all about speed and there is no team faster in this playoff than Eyes Down Town.

Biggest chance of an upset: XTC over Public Enemy

D1 Dark Horse: 33 Speakeasy

So who wins the title: It looks like PE is in for a war against XTC as they always play them tough. Pauly J has been a stud all session but will be thrust into a safety role with the Bocc out. PE should sneak by XTC by the skin of their teeth. This could be the Nick Wendt coming out party as the kid has filthy skill but just needs to put it all together.  ED just seems one step quicker than 33. The world should get their PE/ED final. Without the Bocc PE will struggle as they will need to account for all 3 burners of ED and will only have 2 burners in their line up. Eyes Down Town should have enough to carry in route to  their first back to back title. 

DIVISION #2

THE FIELD

• ANGRY BUFFALO 4-1
• GRAY AND ASSOCIATES 5-1
• TIGHT ENDS IN MOTION 6-1
• BAD APPLES 7-1

THE SKINNY: I am hearing rumbles Angry Buffalo could have attendance issues. Will the football  Gods let us have Bad Apples/Tight Ends in Motion II? Will GNA see that TEIM doesn't throw long enough and move their zone waaaay up to force Alex to beat them over the top? If they do Can Alex beat them over the top? Who wins the impending battle between Delano and Williams? . If TEIM faces Bad Appels and TEIM wins the title will Tiger be relegated to sleeping "on the couch" for the whole off-season? What is going through the mind of Nick Sooch right now? He has his sights squarely on the title but can he will his team to victory?

Biggest chance of an upset: Gray and Associates over Tight Ends in Motion

D2 Dark Horse: Gray and Associates

So who wins the title: This final four should be bedlam. I still think TEIM is about to get shocked by someone. They have talent but I fear their QB is going to get them into trouble unless he goes deep more to back off defenses. TEIM could not have draw a worse opponent than GNA. GNA is as smart as they come and will see what TEIM does good and bad very quickly and they will attack. GNA has all the hardware and they didn't get it by accident. AB is a solid squad that had a late season injury that could hurt them in this one. BA was money last week against a very good Witter's squad. This game could be a Delano vs Williams battle for the ages. Both guys are studs so this game could come down to the supporting casts. I see a GNA/Bad Apples final with GNA taking home the title. To be honest I am so hoping for Bad Apples/Tight Ends in Motion II though......

DIVISION #3

THE FIELD

•  DMX 3-2
• 1 TOPPER TOO MANY 7-1
• Saturdays are for the Girls 10-1
• GRYFFINDOR 10-1

THE SKINNY: Garbacz wants revenge he needs revenge he must get revenge. DMX is really really good. Does the Topper have enough left in his aging arm to will his team to glory? Will Joey Batts pull the shock of the century? Can anyone slow down the best offense in D3 IN DMX? The game is at 1200 lets hope JZ can make it on time.Does the fact no Ricky's are in the final 4 delude this final four? Yes I thought so too.....

Biggest lock: DMX over Gryffindor

Biggest chance of an upset: Saturdays are for the Girls over 1 Topper Too Many. Garbacz will get his revenge

D3 Dark Horse: Gryffindor

So who wins the title: I think SAFTG could shock the world one more time and beat Team Topper. No one expected them to shock Ricky and no one will expect them to shock the Topper. I don't really think it matters who will win this semi as it appears the D3 title is DMX's to lose. DMX has been on fire down the stretch and continue to score at will.They are immensely more talented on O than all 3  teams in this go round. Gryffindor is a solid squad but I just don't seem them running with DMX. I think SAFTG will shock the Topper but then get crushed by DMX. DMX will take home the D3 title. 

DIVISION #4

THE FIELD 

• WHY SO SERIOUS 3-2
• A&A 4-1
• AARP 25-1
• HOMETECH 25-1

THE SKINNY: I hear Matty Ice got hurt Saturday and this could affect both the D6 and D4  Championships. I still feel A&A is on a collision course with WSS. I still feel this title is WSS's to lose as they are really good on both sides of the ball. They have been the bridesmaid long enough its their time to be the bride. AARP and Hometech shocked their opponents last week can either shock again this week? Holy smokes AARP is still in the D4 title race. Good for them. Who is Hometech? Hometech is the team that is in the D4 semi finals that's who Hometech is. 

Biggest lock: Why So Serious over Hometech

Biggest chance of an upset: NONE.

D4 Dark Horse: NONE

So who wins the title: I love the fact that AARP and Hometech are still in the hunt. I love the fact both teams hung out last week. I really love the fact Hometech was hanging out for a really really long time last week. I think the Matty Ice injury will come in to play as he is the moral leader of A&A. Even at 100% I still felt WSS was due  and now it seems like nothing can stop them now. WSS is a solid squad that deserves their turn with the trophy and by days end I for one think they will get it. 

DIVISION #5

THE FIELD

• THE BAMBS 2-1
• CUPCAKE 3-1
• HOPE N RUIN 25-1
• ALL WE DO IS QWINN 25-1

 THE SKINNY: The Bambs are good but have so much pressure on them. If they lose this go round they may never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever recover. But no pressure. Cupcake is a solid football team that is every bit as good. Hope N Ruin and AWDIQ both had solid sessions and look right at home after playing in last sessions D6 final. I would think next sessions final could easily be Hope N Ruin vs All we do is Qwinn one more time. I just don't see anyone stopping the Bambs vs Cupcake II this season . 

Biggest Lock: The Bambs over AWDIQ. 

Biggest chance of an upset: None

D5 Dark Horse: None

So who wins the title: Like D4 I think there is very little that can stop a Bambs VS Cupcake finale. To be honest last time these two hooked up the game was bedlam. The Bambs are easily one of the most balanced teams around. They have size, speed, solid girls and a darn good QB. You have to think their time is now. I see the Bambs and Cupcake easily running by their round #1 opponents. Cupcake will give the Bambs everything they can handle and more. This could easily be the match up of the day as both teams want each other bad. The Bambs want the title so bad they can taste. Will they get it.....I think they will.....Look for the Bambs to finally take home the D5 title. I expect Parrish to cry by days end. .....I then expect Topper to look at Parrish and be all like "Parrish are you crying because you finally won the title." I then expect Parrish to sniffle and say "No Topper no....I think I have something in my eye."

DIVISION #6

THE FIELD 

• MATTY'S ANGELS 3-1
• ACE 3-1
• RSS LADIES 8-1
• CELINO SEWER RATS 25-1

THE SKINNY: This weekend could have been magical but it won't be. ACE will be missing the LaDucas. Matty's Angels has a hurt Matty Ice. RSS Ladies might be missing their QB. What started out as the final four of the century in route to the game of the century could fall flat on its face. Will Matty Ice bite his lip and grab the rock and will the Angels to victory? Will Ronny K regardless of attendance still figure out a way to maximize his strengths and find a way to squeak out an ACE victory? Who is playing QB for RSS Ladies? Everyone keeps sleeping on Celino they have won before can they win again? (No there is no way they will win. What I did there was a teaser and was a neat way to make it look like all 4 teams had an equal chance to win the D6 title. But in all honesty CSR will not win the title. There is no way they are winning the title. I just kind of used a jedi mind trick to confuse you. But to once again be perfectly clear CSR will not win the D6 title.)

D6 Dark Horse: NONE

So who wins the title: Matty Ice is a gamer and knows there is no tomorrow. He knows after Saturday he has 10-11 weeks to get better. He might just say F it  and play anyway's as he won't want to let the world down this weekend. I see ACE getting by CSR as they are missing their speed burners but should still have enough to get by. RSS Ladies are solid but if they don't have their QB they could be in trouble. I see MA getting by RSS late which will give us  a watered down match up. Yes we will get Matty's Angels V Ace but each team will enter wounded. It will be a shame that we don't get each team at 100% as I think both teams could have blown the roof off the joint. ACE is missing 2 players that are vital to their success and it is for  this reason that I think Matt's Angels takes home the D6 Title.  

5 QUESTIONS FOR SATURDAY

1. Who is going to win the D6 title? It seemed like a no brainer last week that ACE and Matty's Angels were destined to have the game of the century but now everything is upside down. I still think both teams should play in like 2 weeks when each team is at 100%. We need this game, we want this game the world needs to know who is better ACE or Matty's Angels.. Yes they will both be in attendance this week and yes they probably will play for the title but it just won't be the same. 

2. Can anyone in D3 stop DMX? I say no. DMX looks filthy good on offense as they have dis-mantled every team that has been trotted in front of them in the last month or so. A very shaky playoff squad in Gryffindor is first up then they get the winner of SAFTG and Team Topper. I just don't see anyone stopping this squad. 

3. Is there any better "side story "this week than SAFTG VS Team Topper?  In week #1 Team Topper trotted Garbacz's ex GF to the fields and shocked SAFTG. This time Garbacz will have a whole week to break down the Team Topper defense /offense and design a scheme on both sides of the ball to slow them down. Garbacz would like nothing better than to beat his ex GF and Team Topper for signing her in the first place. To say this is a revenge game is an understatement. 

4. Can GNA conjure up the spirits of the ghosts of championships past and find a way to steal the D2 title from all the D2 young bucks? GNA is an umpteen time champ. They have been there and done that. They are as battle tested as they come. Will this experience bring them home the D2 title or are the teams they are playing so young that they don't even know what is coming for them? I am curious to see how GNA does this week. 

5. Are people sleeping on 33 Speakeasy? They are a multiple time D1 champ. They have been filthy good down the stretch. They have a win against Eyes Down Town late. Everyone thinks Public Enemy/Eyes Down Town III is looming but I wonder if 33 Speakeasy will have something to say about that.....The world wants PE/ED III but how awesome would it be if we got #XTC/33 I? 

 5 final thoughts before game day

 1.  The game I have my eye on this week is in D5 as I expect a final of Cupcake vs The Bambs. If we get this game again all hell will break loose. Both teams are awesome on both sides of the ball and could have one of the better match ups in recent memory. 

2. If I had to pick a shock this week 2 games look very appealing to me. SAFTG could give Team Topper fits and I am not 100% sure Public Enemy can win without Mike Boccio this week. SAFTG and XTC are two teams I would lay some money on if I was a betting man. 

3.  Hometech was left for dead and no one gave them a shot in hell by mid-season. Heck they were even called out by D5's 3rd and Schlong. Hometech came to town and shocked Full Throttle last week now must go heads up with the big bad wolf in D4 this week. They are one game from a shot at the D4 title. Why So Serious has been known to have a stinker in the playoffs. If I was WSS I would be a tad nervous heading into this game.....

4. The time for talk is over and what happens now is now up you. Are you about to cement your legacy and join the ranks of the social co ed immortals or are you just going to be an also ran and a name we will soon forget? The greatest thing is the final story is about to be written. What happens next is up to you. Good luck and God Speed. As for me I would like to take this opportunity to thank myself for being entertaining and keeping this article fresh for the past 12 seasons. It's not easy talking about this league and the comings and goings but for some reason I am extremely good at it. My contract is up so I will let you know if I decide to return after I take a very very very long break from this league and all you people. Lastly make sure to tell Topper or email him that he is easily the TSL executive of the year . He takes this award very seriously and needs this encouragement from you the TSL universe so he may include this award in next sessions email stamp.
