Spring Registration is now closed.  Thank you to all of the teams that have registered. We are very excited to get back to our Saturday football routine.

 

We are still looking for a couple more guys for breakfast club, more information on that is below.

 

Please note, Payment will be due in Full upon registration

  • Team Fee: $450
  • Forfeit Fee: $50
  • Total Amount due: $500
  • (note- if you did not forfeit a game in the previous season, the $50 forfeit fee will be reimbursed at the end of the season, or carried over to your next season registration)

 

Teams will be limited to only 2 schedule requests this season.  (game times will be 10am, 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm) Early games are considered 10-12, late games are considered 1-3pm.  After you have registered and paid in full, you may then send in your schedule requests.  Please do so in a separate email with your team name and division in the subject line

 

Please only register when you have your complete roster set(we understand that you may add/subtract, but don’t keep someone off your roster on purpose so that you are placed in a lower division, only to add that player once divisions are set, we don’t have time for roster games) Rosters are limited to 12 players.

These are tentative dates for the upcoming season.   We will start week 1 on Saturday April 24th, 2021, teams will play 9 games over 8 weeks regular season, with playoffs on June 19th & 26th.

  7. June 5th (this will be a big party day as it’s the one year anniversary of Rameer’s passing as well as Lenny’s birthday (June 4th actually for both these events)
  8. June 12th (last week of regular season)
  9. June 19th round 1 of the playoffs
  10. June 26th Finals

Breakfast Club: If you love playing football and meeting new people, this is for you!!

 

The Breakfast Club

What is it: a means for allowing you to play in more than one game a day

Why: For years we have tried our best to do our due diligence with roster control and keeping our players happy. Many of you have asked us if there was a way to play more than 1 game and for more than one team on a Saturday. 
After much deliberation we had an idea. Enter "The Breakfast Club"

Who Can Play: Players from all divisions are welcome. We will establish (6-8) captains and each captain will draft his or her team.  We need 36 Guys and and 18 Women to make this happen!

Cost: The cost will be $50 per player. (includes team jersey)

How it works: Registration will be open until the league fills up or start of the season. If full we would then ask that either by venmo or  paypal that you send your league fee in before the start of the season. At that point your name will go on a list for the captains. We then will have a "neutral site" open draft where all captains will pick their teams. Once picked you must play on the team that drafts you. Listed below are some of the rules etc:

1. Season will be 7 regular season weeks with playoffs in weeks 8, 9 and 10.  All teams make the playoffs
2. All games will be played at 9am. No makeup games will be allowed as we can’t compromise the rest of the league and its schedule.
3. All players must play at least (1) half at a position per game.
4. Your "breakfast club league" fee includes all play, team jersey and ref fees throughout the "breakfast club season."
5. If you have some form of sponsorship we would still ask that every player still pays the league fee then reimburse your players with your "sponsorship" money.
6. Our goal is (8) teams of 6 males and 4 females.  (6 teams will do)
7. This division's games are all at 9am. We will do our best to make your schedule as best we can but warn ahead of time that you could theoretically play games at 9am in this division then play at 2 or 3 in your other division.

8. If you want to be a captain or have questions about this league feel free to contact us. 
9 . You may play in this division and stay on your current team as well.
10. Team captains will essentially also be coaches and are in charge of playing time and player positioning.

Updated Guidelines

§  The TSL and The Angry Buffalo will have Covid-19 guidelines in place and posted at the fields, all players MUST have a mask, and follow the posted instructions on when they must wear their mask. There won’t be any tolerance for players and patrons who don’t follow the posted guidelines. 

§  We have put together a group of volunteers to help manage the game day experience

  • Volunteers: Joe K, Valerie Bernal, Travis Clevenger, Jay Jaskier, Emily Curry and Jeff Krol
  • I have asked them to help make sure players are checking in, entering the fields and exiting the fields in the designated areas
  • They will be wearing orange shirts in honor of Rameer
  • They will be enforcing our guidelines.
  • Please make sure your players/teammates have masks or they will not be able to play.  Games will not be held up because players aren’t signing in on time
  • Please do not be disrespectful to them, any rude behavior will not be tolerated.

§  Prior to entering the fields, all players must sign into our Covid Tracing App.  There will be signs posted with a QR code that will take you to this form https://toppersports.com/covid/ where you and your teammates will have to sign in, and answer the questions.  It’s quick, and it’s necessary!!

§  Teams may start to enter the fields 10 minutes prior to their game time, so please make sure you have checked in on the app.

§  Teams will not be permitted to be on the sidelines, rather please setup behind the endzones.  Because of potential subbing issues, we have added a 4th time out for each team to use this season.

§  Please practice social distancing: do not warn up where other teams have congregated, please wait for the teams playing prior to your game to leave the field before entering the field.

§  Masks must be worn when entering the fields.  There will be a designated field entrance area, and a designated field exit area.  Please use the entrance and exit areas as intended.  The field entrance will be located near my truck(for those of you who have played before) for those new to the league, look for the Silver ford explorer.

§  The Rosegarden has setup a lot of outdoor seating for us, please be patient with their staff, and understand that food must be ordered when purchasing alcohol.  Please follow the current restaurant covid policy’s, face mask must be worn until you are seated.  Do not table jump, meaning if you have friends at a table nearby, do not walk over to them without a mask. 

§  Unfortunately, we cannot have spectators at our fields.  Those of you who play on more than 1 team, we suggest that you bring a lawn chair and tailgate so to speak, or go up to the bar and grab a table.

§  There is expanded parking behind the bar, so please park up against the tree lines, and make sure to leave room for cars to get out. (see attached layout)

§  Dogs are permitted, must be accompanied by an adult and on a leash at all times, and obviously, not permitted in the bar area or the fields.

§  While playing you do not have to wear a mask, however we do encourage that gaiter scarfs be worn if at all possible.

§  I encourage all players download the telegram messaging app and join our channel, this is the fastest way for us to update everyone on league news and events

  7. You and your teammates are encouraged to sign up for our telegram channel, https://t.me/toppersports it’s the first place we’ll announce if there are any cancellations and other league news.

·        If you are unable to field a team for the upcoming week, you must notify us by 5pm on the Thursday prior to your game to avoid being charged the $50 forfeit fee.
